Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is the American professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth first overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years of age. In July of 2014 she was chosen as a player on the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also named to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. She was even congratulated by the legendary Kobe Bryant after she hit numerous big shots during the NCCA Tournament.
