Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. The actress began her career acting in the 1980s. The actress became popular for Tezaab, a film starring an established actor Anil Kooor. Her next appearance on screen was in Dil along with Aamir. Early on, as a girl growing up in Mumbai's middle class she began to learn how to dance. She ventured into acting as a youngster and struggled through a couple of years since the majority of her first film projects were unsuccessful. She found fame and became one of the top movie actresses. In the aftermath of her wedding ceremony, she took a brief break from her acting career before returning. Recently, she had in a crucial part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of the awards. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, India's fourth highest civil honor. In addition, she has been recognized for her work in the field of social work.
