Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler, a Z-grade movie critic, is famous by her scathing appreciation of dumb action films as well as horror films. Her first review was in 2009 and, after garnering some notoriety through the forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. At the beginning of 2015 she was on the website as Obscurus Lupa Presents evolved into Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts, one that covers the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In addition, she appeared on Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! He has also had her guest star on some episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews terrible films for children or RiffTrax shows as well as occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). In late 2009 she began to review movies, which gained her acclaim on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the network's family of movie critics. Her appearances have included a variety on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
